Marc D. Moroux obtained a B.S. degree in Business Administration, cum laude, from the University of Southwestern Louisiana in 1984 and a Juris Doctor degree from Louisiana State University in 1988. He is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in the State of Louisiana, all state courts in the State of Texas, the U. S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of Texas, the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, Texas State Bar Association, Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, and the Association of Corporate Counsel.
Mr. Moroux also served as general corporate counsel handling and managing the general legal, insurance, and litigation matters for a domestic and international group of companies providing a wide variety of onshore and offshore construction, fabrication, and field services, rentals, and goods to the upstream and downstream sectors of the energy exploration, refining, and power industries.
He is AV-Preeminent rated by Martindale-Hubbell (highest possible rating) and has been recognized by his peers as a “Louisiana Super Lawyer.”
