Michael J. Juneau obtained a B.S. degree in Accounting, magna cum laude, from Louisiana State University in 1984, and a Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Harvard University in 1987. While in law school, he was selected best oralist in the first year Ames Moot Court Competition and also served as a member of the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau. He is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in the State of Louisiana, the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and in the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Juneau is a Fellow of the Louisiana Bar Foundation and has served as an elected member of the House of Delegates of the Louisiana State Bar Association, as well as a member of the board of directors for the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Louisiana State Bar Association, Lafayette Bar Association, the Christian Legal Society, the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel and the Defense Research Institute.
Mr. Juneau’s practice includes litigation of maritime, professional liability and product liability / casualty matters in both state and federal court. He has many years of both trial and appellate experience in courts at all levels throughout Louisiana.
Mr. Juneau also has extensive experience in significant mass tort / nationwide class action matters, particularly in the role of a court-appointed neutral administering mass tort settlements.
