Robert J. David, Jr. received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University in 1989. He received his Juris Doctorate Degree from Louisiana State University in 1992, where he served on the Moot Court Board and was named to the Chancellor’s List. Since 1997, Mr. David has served, by appointment of the Supreme Court of Louisiana, as its Director of Accommodations for the Committee on Bar Admissions, which requires him to address accommodation requests under the Americans with Disabilities Act on behalf of the Court. In addition to all state courts in Louisiana, Mr. David is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana; the U.S. District Courts for Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas; and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth, Sixth and Eleventh Circuits.
Mr. David is a member of the Federal, American (Litigation/Corporate Counsel Subcommittee and Labor/Employment Section), and Louisiana State (Labor/Employment Section) Bar Associations, and he participates in the Society for Human Resources Management. Mr. David has defended clients in litigation matters in over 25 states. Mr. David also has written for several legal and human resources publications and is a frequent lecturer on a wide range of employment law topics. Mr. David has been named by his peers to “ The Best Lawyers in America” published by Woodward/White.
